"Our team consists of materials scientists, engineers specializing in biomaterials and dental technicians. They are constantly looking for new developments that are important for the dental market, both in the medium and the long-term.

We are delighted to welcome a new ceraMotion® family member:

ceraMotion® Z

Zirconium oxide is the first choice in materials for highly aesthetic prosthetic restorations due to its many possible uses, its biocompatibility and its visual shade matching ability. For many years we have been working intensely on building up the ceraMotion® portfolio.

We are working hard to develop high-quality materials for the digital ceramic restoration market. We use the best ceramic raw materials from Europe and Asia."

Dr. Francois Lelievre
PhD. Material Science
President Dentaurum Ceramics

"Zirconium oxide - the first choice for
prosthetic restorations which place the
highest demands
on material properties and aesthetics."

One solution for all requirements.

The six different ceraMotion® Z blanks cover all zirconium oxide-based indications and offer maximum reliability in shading and processing. State-of-the-art materials technology within a logical overall concept makes ceraMotion® Z the smart choice for natural all-ceramic restorations, created to meet high demands.

In particular, the multi-shaded, multi-layered zirconium oxide ceraMotion® Z Hybrid is a truly multi-purpose material.
In one blank, it combines the aesthetics of a 1000 MPa zirconium oxide with the strength of a tetragonal, highly translucent zirconium oxide. ceraMotion® Z Hybrid is pure aesthetics and suitable for all work in the anterior and posterior tooth area.

ceraMotion® Z Hybrid

Strong, aesthetic & multi-shaded.

The multi-shaded, multi-layered zirconium oxide ceraMotion® Z Hybrid is a truly multi-purpose material. In one blank, it combines the aesthetics of a cubic zirconium oxide with the strength of a highly translucent zirconium oxide. ceraMotion® Z Hybrid is pure aesthetics and suitable for all work in the anterior and posterior region. By means of a special high-tech process, two different zirconium oxide materials are processed in one blank. ceraMotion® Z Hybrid is available in the 9 most popular V-shades and 2 bleach shades and offers reliable shade reproduction.

The machinability of ceraMotion® Z Hybrid is excellent and the material is suitable for all open CAD/CAM systems. We primarily recommend this material for monolithic work that is aesthetically demanding, and for finishing with a ceramic paste (e.g. ceraMotion® One Touch). It is also possible to continue processing with a classic veneering ceramic (e.g. ceraMotion® Zr).

Product advantages:

  • Reliable reproducibility for high-level aesthetics
  • Multiple indications due to high strength in the dentin area
  • Natural and smooth shade transitions from cervical to incisal
  • Available in the 9 most popular V-shades + 2 bleach shades
  • Excellent machinability
  • Recommended sintering temperature 1480 °C / 2696 °F
  • Translucency 44% – 48% (non-shaded, 1 mm)

  • Homogeneous and bright ceramics already after the
    first dentin firing.
  • Maximum bonding strength with zirconium oxide
frameworks thanks to ideal CTE setting.
  • Natural aesthetics due to special masses for
    opalescence, fluorescence and translucency.

Aesthetics from one source.

"The design – be it monolithic, cut-back, partially or fully veneered always depends on the patient case to be treated. From my experience, it is of great advantage if the framework material and the veneering ceramics come from a single source, because only the manufacturer knows the shadings and can match them perfectly."

It´s a kind of One Touch – das Material ist der Star
