Overview tioLogic®

ProstheticSet for tioLogic®

The ProstheticSet for tioLogic® contains the  tioLogic® torque ratchet and the hex key in the lengths 16.0 and 26.0 mm. Four further slots are available to store additional insertion instruments for the ratchet. The ProstheticSet consists of a Polyvack dental container.

Components for taking impressions

Conventional impressions can be taken using either the open or closed technique. Components in all 3 series of abutments (S-M-L) are available for both techniques.

Components for the closed impression technique include impression posts, screws, impression caps and bite registration caps. Both the impression post and the caps are laser-printed or marked with S, M or L.

Impression posts are available in lengths of 10.0 mm and 14.0 mm with the corresponding screws to cater for different occlusal spaces. The impression posts are laser-printed with S, M or L on the retention surface and at the interface.

Model casting

Laboratory implants can be used in both analog and digital workflow. The cavities of the laboratory analogs are stored in the CAD/CAM libraries of the various software manufacturers in order to achieve an optimum fit and the correct positioning of the laboratory analogs with the counter screw in 3D model printing. This function is also available for the laboratory implants bar, bridge and AngleFix.

Temporary abutments

It is possible to use a temporary abutment as a long-term, non-functional immediate restoration. The temporary abutment is made from high-strength plastic which can be quickly and easily customized.

Selection aids

In order to simplify the choice of prosthetic components for the dental technician, there are various plastic selection aids available for the abutment series S, M and L.

CAD/CAM abutments

The surface of the scan abutments titanium has been optimized for digital capture, both intra-orally and on the model without scanning spray. Original tioLogic® CAD/CAM titanium blocks are available for the manufacture of individual one-piece abutments in manufacturing centers certified by Dentaurum. Titanium bases are used for the fabrication of customized hybrid abutments for adhesively bonding CAD/CAM zirconium oxide ceramic mesostructures.

The geometry of the titanium bases was specially designed to ensure a reliable, aesthetic bond with the ceramic mesostructure. Scan caps for bridge and bar restorations guarantee a user-friendly and precise transfer of scan data for construction of bridges and bars directly on the tioLogic® bridge, bar and AngleFix series of abutments.

Titanium abutments

Titanium abutments are available in straight, 20° angled and cylindrical form. The straight and the angled titanium abutments can be slightly customized thanks to their anatomical design and varying gingival heights. The angled titanium abutments also have different gingival heights (labial / palatal). The cylindrical titanium abutments can be prepared as required for the individual case.

AngleFix abutments

With the AngleFix concept, immediate restoration is possible for edentulous patients by means of screw-retained bridges or bars in the maxilla or mandible on tioLogic® ST implants. AngleFix abutments are available for the implants lines S, M and L, straight (0°) and angled 20° and 30°. Positioning of the angled abutments is simple thanks to the integrated PentaStop®. The abutments are designed to allow divergencies of the implant axes up to 44°. Closure screws, impression posts, laboratory analogs and titanium and plastic caps are available for the prosthetic restoration.

Apart from classic impression-taking, it is possible to take impressions directly via the AngleFix impression posts or digitally with the scan cap AngleFix titanium via the AngleFix abutments.

Bar abutments

Bar abutments are available in different gingiva heights, allowing compensation of implant divergencies for a tension-free bar restoration. Caps in titanium or plastic can be fitted (bonded) to the bar abutments.

Aside from classic impression-taking, impressions can be taken directly via the bar abutments using bar impression posts or digitally via the bar abutments using the scan cap titanium bar.

Bridge abutments

Bridge abutments in different gingival heights are available for bridge restorations. Their function is to compensate implant divergences in order to create bridge restorations that are free of tension. Titanium and plastic caps can be used on the bridge abutments for the prosthetic restoration. Apart from classic impression-taking, it is possible to take impressions directly via the bridge abutments using the impression post bridge or digitally via the bridge abutments using the scan cap titanium bridge.

tioLOC abutments

The LOCATOR® technique is for fabricating implant/tissue-borne restorations with a very low overall height. Existing coverdentures can be modified or remade. The tioLOC abutment, fabricated in-house, is available in different gingival heights. The LOCATOR® matrix comprises a metal base with a retention insert. The withdrawal force of the LOCATOR® matrix is regulated with an exchangeable retention insert which is available in different retention forces.

Ball abutments

Ball-anchored dentures are implant/tissue-borne restorations. With ball abutments, existing coverdentures can be modified or a new coverdenture can be fabricated. The ball abutment has different gingival heights. The withdrawal force of the matrix DalboR-PLUS can be adjusted to suit the individual patient.
