Successful Dentaurum courses on tomas® mini implants
in London and in Ispringen
Released: 07.04.2025
In the past few months, Dentaurum held two successful courses on the subject of "Clinical applications of orthodontic mini implants with the tomas® anchorage system" which met with considerable interest from orthodontists from the whole of Europe. Dr. Fady Hussein Fahim, an orthodontist from Cairo, was the speaker at both courses and was delighted to see the level of interest in the subject.
Valuable knowledge transfer in England's capital city
The first one-day course for beginners took place in London and focused on the safe handling of the tomas® anchorage system. The aim of the course was to understand how to use orthodontic mini implants and safely treat patients using the tomas®-pin. tomas® (temporary orthodontic micro anchorage system) is a complete system for all indications, be it distalization, mesialization, intrusion, palatal expansion or indirect anchorage. Users across the globe value its easy, clearly structured handling and high reliability.
The second course took place at Dentaurum's headquarters and stretched over two days. It included both theory and many practical exercises. Participants could also gain insight into the company and its production facilities during an exclusive tour. Professionals were able to deepen their knowledge and skills when using the tomas® mini implants thanks to the practical nature of the course.
Much appreciated international exchange
The courses were held in English, attracting participants from various European countries. This, in turn, promoted international relations and cooperation with the field of orthodontics. Thanks to Dr. Fady Hussein Fahim's dedication and well-structured course, participants were able to increase their level of knowledge and their skills when working with the tomas® mini implants.
