Lively colors, glitter and decals: new design for Dentaurum's app for creating individual, removable dental braces.
Dentaurum is proud to present the follow-on model of the "appliance configurator" – now more colorful, more diverse and more modern for individual patient consultation via smartphone or tablet. The user can choose any of the colors from the Dentaurum orthodontic acrylic system Orthocryl® and its light-curing counterpart Orthocryl® LC. There is also a choice between 6 different glitters and more than 30 decals. Patients can design braces to their heart's desire.
"Build-a-Brace" is not just an app for use during patient consultation. It has additional functions which offer added value: the brace designs can be stored, shared with friends via social network or sent directly to the dental technician in the dental laboratory by the orthodontist. A list of materials is automatically generated so the technician can fabricate the brace just as the patient requires. And the app offers much more, such as a photo gallery for inspiration, tips on how to look after dental braces etc.

Dentaurum's new app was launched at this year's meeting of the German Society for Orthodontics (DGKFO) and is available in German and English. More languages will follow shortly.
