Dentaurum is staging an International Orthodontic Workshop for the third time. An interesting scientific program awaits participants from all corners of the world from October 20 - 21, 2023 in Istanbul. There will also be a chance to catch up.
Renowned and experienced speakers will be discussing current subjects such as skeletal anchorage with tomas®, permanent retention and its technologies, and the 3D printing of orthodontic appliances. Enjoy talks and workshops with distinguished speakers, all together in one place and learn more about their different approaches and strategies.
Prof. Dr. Sebastian Baumgaertel is a Clinical Associate Professor at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, USA and director of the clinic for skeletal anchorage. He is an instructor in orthodontic biomechanics and also works in his own private practice in Cleveland. In his lecture, he will impart practical knowledge on treatment planning with Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs) based on anatomical studies and extensive clinical experience.
Prof. Michael Wolf's team from the University of Aachen, Germany, is dedicated to applied and translational research in orthodontics, placing emphasis on the regulatory processes during orthodontic tooth movement. He will be talking about permanent retention and the innovative technologies available for this form of treatment.
We are delighted that Prof. Dr. Nezar Watted will be joining us. He has made a name for himself in the field of orthodontic aesthetics and is well-known for his approach in the orthodontic treatment of periodontally damaged dentition and in functional orthodontics. He is also a private lecturer at the university clinic and polyclinic for dental, oral and maxillofacial pathology at the Bavarian Julius-Maximilians-University in Wuerzburg, Germany.
Dr. Simon Graf, an orthodontist from Belp in Switzerland, will talk about 3D printing of orthodontic appliances. He aims to use digital technologies to make day-to-day operation in the practice more effective and to simplify, improve and accelerate existing treatment methods. His successes in virtual design and the direct 3D printing of various removable orthodontic appliances have caught the attention of orthodontists worldwide. He has been a sought-after international speaker since 2016 and has held talks at congresses in more than 30 countries. Several of his specialist articles have been published in internationally recognized orthodontic magazines.
Dr. Trevor Hodge is a Consultant Orthodontist at the Dental Institute in Leeds, Great Britain. He was appointed Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Leeds due to his success in clinical and applied research, dental public health and health services research. He will accompany the workshop for fixed and removable orthodontic appliances.
These diverse experts will guide participants through the most important questions on non-compliance orthodontics. There will be hands-on workshops directly following the talks to practice and consolidate the subjects learned. Participants will be divided into two groups to ensure the best support possible.
