Goal	Provide fundamental theoretical and practical knowledge to start using tomas skeletal anchorage system
Seminar program	Lectures part: • tomas® - isn‘t just a mini implant - it‘s a system! • Step by step insertion / Best sites for orthodontic miniscrew insertion • How to be successful with orthodontic miniscrews • Biomechanics of Canine and En-Masse retraction • Correction of vertical problems; deep overbite / open bite • Correction of Transverse problems = Miniscrew Assisted Rapid palatal expansion (MARPE) Content of practice: • tomas® insertion in bone blocks • Bonding L-shaped wire from cross head tomas® pin to palatal surface of maxillary first molar (indirect anchorage)
