For more than 130 years, the name Dentaurum has stood for outstanding quality, continuous innovation and a high level of reliability. The company now proudly presents the next highlight in its range of digital products: a new online ordering system, a platform enabling customers to order their individual products and services simply and quickly. Products are manufactured to a high level of quality thanks to professional quality management and validated manufacturing processes as well as industry standard for machines and processes.
The platform will go online on time for IDS 2019. Products and services tailored to the customer's requirements will be marketed and distributed in future under the new umbrella brand Dentaurum Digital. The online platform is intuitive and easy to use: the status of all open and completed orders can be seen at a glance. Online order-related communication with experienced support employees is available via the order platform.
As a first step, customers can order printed base models and dental arch models for orthodontics as well as 3D retainers – these are milled from titanium grade 5 using a three-dimensional design. Customers can receive competent advice from specialists experienced in CAD/CAM and customer support.
Model printing
Printed base models and dental arch models for orthodontics are produced with maximum precision, providing an ideal basis for the fabrication of orthodontic appliances. As always, Dentaurum stays true to its own demands on quality: top industry standard for machines and validated processes together with highly qualified personnel. Order processing and production are effected quickly and the printed models can be sent to the customer 48 hours later.
Advantages of Retainer 3D
The retainer is designed according to the customer's wishes using a three-dimensional construction design, guaranteeing a perfect fit. The digital design also works for situations where space is limited. The material, titanium grade 5, is biocompatible, making the Retainer 3D highly suitable for patients with a nickel allergy.
Once the design has been approved, the retainer is milled from a titanium blank on a one-to-one basis. This ensures the patient will find the retainer comfortable to wear as its lingual fit is ideal and the adhesive surfaces are smaller. This, in turn, also helps improve and ease oral hygiene.
