International Implantology Congress 2020 in Leipzig:
In their anniversary year, Dentaurum Implants look forward to greeting guests from around the world
Register now – from 19 to 21 June 2020, Leipzig will be home to a true highlight in the world of advanced training in implantology. For three days, the 5-star hotel "The Westin Leipzig" will be the venue for Dentaurum Implants' International Implantology Congress. Renowned speakers will be giving a series of scientific and practice-oriented lectures on current topics from the field of implantology. And, in addition, there is reason to celebrate: Dentaurum Implants can look back on 25 successful years in implantology.
Following delightful congresses in Berlin, Malta, Frankfurt and Munich, it is now time to continue the tradition of holding an experts' meeting. Under the slogan "tioLogic® – dare to be different", the event will focus on practical relevance and interactive exchange amongst participants. Our speakers will impart scientific and practical knowledge, coupled with proposals to help improve many aspects of daily work in implantology. Before the program officially begins on Saturday, there will be a dinner on Friday which will give participants the opportunity to come together and exchange views and ideas. The location is a surprise! Let is just be said that the exotic atmosphere and the accompanying program will make this an unforgettable evening.
If we take a peek at the program for Saturday and Sunday, we see that there will be ten speakers from six countries. Prof. Dr. Friedhelm Heinemann from Germany will begin the day with scientific and clinical aspects of abutment design. The next speaker is from France: Dr. Gilles Chaumanet will explain what happens when biology meets technology in implantology. Dr. Yaman Felfli from Saudi Arabia will be looking at the question: "Bone graft with dental implants – When, why, and how?" It promises to be an interesting day. Dr. James Galea from Malta will follow with a talk on immediate rehabilitation of edentulous cases. Dr. Said Jama Scharifi from Germany will then look at the question whether virtual 3D planning and diagnostics are essential to implantology. After lunch, participants can enjoy a talk from Dr. Ammar Alkatrji from Saudi Arabia on how to determine hard and soft tissue optimal contour. Following this, Dr. Joachim Hoffmann from Germany will deal with the subject of the "danger zone" in implant surgery and bone graft procedures in the posterior mandible. The final scientific talk of the day will be from Dr. Mohamed Wagdy Bissar from Egypt on the subject of "Peri-implant tissue – changes around different implant abutment connections".
The day will end with a special highlight, away from the world of implantology: Harry Flint from Germany will take a glimpse at the future. He is well-known as someone who likes to take new roads. He will be showing how it can be possible to find and bind patients using videos. And there will be enough times during the breaks to talk to colleagues and speakers and to find out more about the products currently on offer from Dentaurum Implants.
Participants can gain practical insights by watching live demonstrations with Philippe de Moyer from Belgium, Dr. Joachim Hoffmann and Prof. Dr. Friedhelm Heinemann (Germany). The topics are: "The esthetic zone: How to create a fantastic emergence profile with minimal effort", "2INGIS® guide – New dimension in guided surgery" and "Digital workflow – From root to crown."
There is also an interesting social program for participants and their partners, offering three options: Dragon Boat trip, Porsche Factory Tour or Sightseeing tour by bus. It is possible to register for the international experts' meeting at https://www.dentaurum.de/iic-leipzig2020/ until 10 April.
