Dentaurum hosts International Symposium
Implantology event with excellent speakers
Over 30 dentists and dental technicians from various countries across the globe followed Dentaurum Implant’s invitation to Ispringen, Germany to attend an implantology course with excellent speakers. The focus of this event was centred on immediate implantation, as well as sinus lifting with the innovative tioLogic® implant system.
Following the welcome address by Dentaurum Implants’ export manager Esther Taszus, and area manager for implantology, Tobias Grosse, the two-day training event began with an interesting lecture on the development of the tioLogic® implant system based on 20 years of experience with the TIOLOX© implant.
Dr. Manfred Sontheimer, experienced implantologist and long-standing lecturer for Dentaurum Implants, told participants about surgical procedures and easy handling of the tioLogic® implant system. Following this, participants had the chance to use the tioLogic® implant system on various practical examples during hands-on training.
The international gathering of participants praised the case conference on immediate implants by Dr. Peter Keller, Master of Science Implantology, as both practical and informative, as well as the lecture by Dr. Sontheimer on sinus lifting.
Simultaneously to these lectures, a special training session for dental technicians was held. Matthias Ulmer, dental technician and product manager at Dentaurum Implants, explained the various areas of application for tiologic© prosthetics.
The first varied day of training ended with a visit to “Jewellery Worlds” in Pforzheim, the Golden City, and a jovial evening meal.
The next day’s highlights at the meeting of users were two live operations, which took up on the immediate implant and sinus lift themes from the previous day. Participants watched both operations live from the theatre by modern video coverage on a large screen.
The Dental Communication Centre (CDC), the Dentaurum group’s training centre, proved once again to be an excellent setting thanks to a first-class infrastructure: Modern surgical theatre, several dental laboratories, simultaneous interpretation equipment and well-rehearsed personnel.
An entertaining supporting programme in, among other places, Heidelberg, rounded off the informative training event and provided much room for exchange of experiences between colleagues. The positive feedback from participants proved once again that Dentaurum Implants provide much more than “just” excellent products: Well-founded and high-quality service, which confirms impressively that long-term customers are indeed valued partners.
