International Product & Sales Training for Dentaurum Group subsidiaries and representatives
Already a fixed institution: The Ispringen Dentaurum Group’s “Product and Sales Training” course. An international cast of participants proved once again the large need in all countries for training and information, something readily welcomed by all. Between July 11th
2005, parties from Belgium, France, England, Lithuania, Holland, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Slovenia, Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro, Romania, the Czech Republic, Belarus, Syria, Saudi Arabia, U.A.E., Ecuador, South Korea, Indonesia, Japan, and Canada took the opportunity to learn about Dentaurum products at the CDC further education centre (Centrum Dentale Communikation). As in previous years, the multifaceted programme was divided into the faculties of orthodontics, dental technology and implantology, the main purpose being to communicate knowledge of new products. These include, among others, the tomas®
pin, the magic®
lingual system, equilibrium®
mini (the world’s smallest metal bracket), and Jewels (the world’s first coloured ceramic brackets). In addition, there was a presentation of the new CCS Compact Ceramic System. This system makes use of a new shade-coordination technique for opaquer, dentine and enamel ceramic to reproduce perfect results using a standard layering scheme in only a few steps but without the need for additional powders.
Not only that, but tips and tricks on handling well-tried products such as Orthocryl®, buccal tubes, and the Tiolox® implant system were part of the well prepared lectures and demonstrations. This “Product and Sales Training” placed particular emphasis on practical skills. Participants had the opportunity to work with Orthocryl®, try their hand at laser welding, and place a tomas® pin in a plaster model. The application of Dentaurum materials in dental technology was explained by acting out the fabrication of a cobalt chrome denture base, and a crown and bridge restoration.
But nothing happens without marketing – on this theme, participants were comprehensively informed of planned marketing activities and guaranteed extensive support measures in this field.
Following five days of intense product education, the guests looked forward to a particular highlight: The recently opened WORLD OF JEWELLERY (SCHMUCKWELTEN) in Pforzheim. An interesting and entertaining tour of this shopping and experience platform, unique within Europe, thrilled the guests, at the same time bringing them closer to the history steeped in tradition of the jewellers of the golden city of Pforzheim. Apart from the certainty of having once again been widely and competently informed about Dentaurum products, many a participant returned home with an authentic piece of Pforzheim jewellery to call their own.
