ecosil – a new duplicating silicone from Dentaurum

For many years rema® Sil has impressed users with its premium quality. In particular, the uniquely low Shore hardness (9-10) and exceptional flowability of this pure silicone have ensured its permanent place in the laboratory.

Like the proven premium product rema® Sil, ecosil is an addition-cured two-component silicone. This silicone can be used for all types of duplication. ecosil is also recommended for flaskless duplication systems due to its higher Shore hardness (18-20), making it an ideal companion product to rema® Sil. "We chose the mint green colour intentionally", explained Ralph Schäfer, who is responsible for developing new silicones at the Ispringen dental company. "It provides an easy, reliable check when mixing the blue and yellow components." The excellent shade contrast also makes it easier to check the mould impression. ecosil is highly elastic and therefore extremely dimensionally stable.
