The orthodontic world meets in Salzburg:
The 2nd Dentaurum Orthodontics Symposium in 2015
The 2nd Dentaurum Orthodontics Symposium will take place May 8 and 9 of 2015 in Salzburg, Austria. After the premiere in 2011, Dentaurum will once again welcome a series of high-profile orthodontics professors from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The symposium president will be Prof. Dr. Adriano Crismani from the University of Innsbruck.
The first day will start with talks on skeletal anchorage and Class III therapy. The program will continue with presentations on the temporomandibular joint, open bite therapy and current treatment strategies. The first day will end with a discussion on: "Orthodontic treatment – a question of age?" Saturday morning will begin with presentations on palatal expansion, difficult cleft lip and palate cases, growth of facial skull and splint therapy. The afternoon speaker will cover topics such as orthodontic treatment for adults, sleep apnea in infants and lingual therapy in combination with Herbst appliances. After each block of presentations, the participants will have enough time to discuss and ask questions.
Dentaurum will invite the participants to a gala dinner on Friday evening at Hellbrunn Palace. The unique atmosphere of the early 17th century Italian style villa will provide enough time for nice conversations and a couple of surprises. The limited number of participants will allow a fruitful dialogue among friends and colleagues. On Friday afternoon, accompanying persons can attend a city tour of Salzburg to get to know this Austrian city. The hometown of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is the perfect mix of culture, relaxation and pleasure.
The symposium will take place at the Castellani Parkhotel in Salzburg, only 15 minutes away from the city center and various sights making it the ideal starting point for individual tours.
