Placing Implants in an Atrophic Mandible

Due to the changes in the age structure of the population, dentistry will have to produce treatment concepts for elderly patients. Straightforward, cost-effective concepts will be needed which are available to many patients. The emphasis will not be on technically sophisticated fixed bridgework retained on multiple implants but rather on coverdentures supported on a small number of interforaminal implants. The following article presents a case provided with Tiolox® implants.
