Service is important for the Dentaurum Group. In addition to a wide range of courses and continuing education seminars in the fields of orthodontics, prosthetics and implantology, Dentaurum provides outstanding service projects such as the remanium
® kompendium, the o-atlas, the tomas
® illustrated atlas of skeletal anchorage and the Dynamics of Orthodontics. Now visitors to the IDS have the one-time opportunity to get information on the service division of the Dentaurum Group. International experts will be on site to give individual advice to users. Whether you are interested in the topic of model casting, single-component casting or ceramics – experienced experts such as Klaus Dittmar, Michael Martin and Nazif Idrizi will be there to tell visitors about modern techniques in dental technology, present course concepts and answer visitors' questions.
Claudia Stößer will demonstrate the fabrication of fantastic braces live and will show how to create outstanding pieces of jewellery with simple equipment. Ursula Wirtz, author of the successful o-atlas, will discuss the creation of this unique reference source for removable orthodontic technique at the Dentaurum stand. She will also give advice on her special field – the pendulum appliance. Another guest in Cologne will be Christine Ramian, chair of the Society for Orthodontic Dental Technology. She is the best person to talk to about the fabrication of various removable appliances.
Dentaurum will be presenting well-known and new service projects at this year's IDS, such as the remanium® kompendium. This new series of compendia will be available in printed form and as a multilingual CD-ROM. This continuing education medium is unique in its way with dynamic image series, downloads, interactive options and information. Dental technicians will find a variety of useful information important in the fabrication of dental appliances without precious metals. In the area of orthodontics the o-atlas will be presented in book form at the IDS in German, English and Spanish. The eight chapters contain information from master cast production to retainers with practical tips on simple fabrication of orthodontic appliances.
There are also news from the continuing education series Dynamics of Orthodontics, a project of Dentaurum and Quintessenz. An international team of authors has been able to present a comprehensive overview of the world of orthodontics. All divisions of orthodontics from anatomy to therapy are described in detail in the Dynamics of Orthodontics. The complete series can be purchased from Dentaurum.
All this and more is waiting for visitors to the IDS at the Dentaurum Stand in Hall 10.1, Aisle F10/11 – it's worth taking a look!
